Anna L. Graham

Anna is an entrepreneur and trusted as-is home buyer who helps homeowners who are experiencing a variety of personal and/or property challenges put their home to work for them by providing alternatives to a traditional home sale.

She specializes in helping seniors who need to sell their home to finance the transition to senior care communities. She is a Senior Transition Specialist, certified by Mom’s House, which requires comprehensive training on how to effectively assist seniors and their families with the often-difficult process of evaluating senior care. Anna’s personal experience with assisting her own father with a move into senior living and many life lessons in home transitions for seniors give her a great understanding of the stress and complexities involved. These experiences are why Anna has a heart for helping families navigate the process and to alleviate some of the stress. She shares her journey in the book.

Anna is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for seniors who need to sell their lifetime home through a compassionate partnership that combines education about community resources with an efficient home sale. She understands the expenses associated with senior care and her goal is to help homeowners by providing a means for them to sell their homes quickly, without fees, and without having to make costly repairs or take part in exhausting cleanouts.

With extensive experience as a small business owner, Anna knows the value of honoring commitments and communicating clearly with clients. She takes a genuine interest in others and loves helping whenever and wherever she can. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, Bible study, travel, and of course … looking at real estate!

Ben Rao

Ben Rao

Ben Rao is an author, serial entrepreneur, business coach, philanthropist and senior care advocate who lives in Lee’s Summit, Missouri (outside Kansas City, MO).

Ben experienced first-hand the emotional and financial struggle that families face when he was unexpectedly confronted with the reality of transitioning his own father into senior care. He was challenged by the lack of direction and resources available for a process that nearly all of us will eventually need to go through. That experience inspired Ben to use his personal and professional experience in the long-term care industry to help families transition their loved ones into senior care.

Ben enjoys traveling, biking, hiking, and outdoor adventures – he tries to visit at least two national parks every year. He lives with his wife, Rhonda, and their two children, Maddy and Charlie, in a renovated historic building that was once the Lee’s Summit Hospital and the Dayton Hotel in Downtown Lee’s Summit. He also developed Lee’s Summit’s first entrepreneurial incubator and shared office space in a formerly vacant post office. Ben works there alongside his trusty sidekick, Charlie dog, a border collie who has gone to the office with him every day for the last 10 years.
