About Senior Transitions
Senior transitions came into being 11 years ago in Rochester, New York at the request
(plea) of several "Adult Children" who were moving their parents to an Assisted Living facility. With all that needed to be done, the families were exhausted emotionally and physically before their loved ones had even moved in and suggested that there needed to be a service that could help and respond to their needs (time constraints and loss of strength) as well as to the needs of their parents.
As a result, and after many focus groups, Senior Transitions was formed. Moving to Charlottesville, Virginia in 2004, Senior Transitions' clients partner with a caring, trained and thorough professional dedicated to assisting seniors and their families. Senior Transitions Founder and President, Sue Liberman, has been professionally involved in Health and Human Services, Behavior Health and Senior Living for more that 20 years. She is committed to advocating for seniors by enabling them to live in a loving and safe place with dignity and joy, whether its in their own home or an alternative setting.
"Charlottesville is a wonderful community to find an appropriate, comfortable, secure and vital life for a senior, regardless of their personal status. With contacts all over the U.S., we are also able to help folks move into or out of C'ville, depending on their individual situation and needs."
